Had a BBL + Lipo360 w/ Dr. JC Alvarez. The entire experience was pretty quick. I spent about 3/4 hours in the clinic for my pre op appointment, labs, paperwork and a quick visit with the doctor. I will say I’ve had surgery in Dominican Republic before and the difference in preop and post op care is pretty significant in terms of attention and quality of service. However I didn’t have a particular issue, I felt I received attention and all my questions were answered and acknowledged, you’re not going to a hospital for life saving surgery, it’s a cosmetic clinic, they move quick and try and get to everyone. It’s a fast paced environment. The overall work of Dr JC was impeccable, he exceeded my expectations and I love my results! My recovery has been a breeze with minimal bruising and swelling. I wish I had my first round with this doctor. The post op care is minimal, if you have low pain tolerance and need a lot of care taking, stay in a recovery house, the doctors and nurses at the clinic are not there to care for you post op, although they call you to check up on you and address any issues in your post op visit, comparing the post op care to what is received in DR - the DR takes the cake. I had surgery on a Friday at 4:30am (doctor’s preference) and was in the car leaving by 6:45am! Super quick in and out. All the ladies in the clinic were nice and attentive. Majority are of Spanish descent (specifically Cuban) I feel like if you’re Latina, you know how to handle your people. I see a lot of bad reviews, and I understand, however I feel like a lot of people want to pay 7k and get rolled out in a red carpet, you want Hollywood treatment, you gotta have Hollywood Kim K money. I never felt concerned for my life or well being, all equipment looked sterile, modern , and clean. Thanks New Life & Dr JC!

I had an incredible experience with New Life Plastic Surgery from beginning to end. I was flying out from Boston when a storm shut down the East Coast and all flights were cancelled. Despite the chaos, the staff was extremely understanding and helped me rearrange everything with so much patience. Lismary stayed in constant communication, making sure I was okay and working quickly to move my pre‑op and surgery dates. I was originally supposed to arrive on Monday but couldn’t make it until Tuesday night, and she still managed to accommodate me for surgery on Wednesday. When I arrived, the staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel completely supported. Dr. JC Alvarez was very professional, and I absolutely love my results. During the 8 days I stayed in Miami, I visited the clinic regularly for HBOT sessions with Liliana and check‑ups with Nurses Olga and Ana. They were all amazing, warm, caring, and always making sure I was healing well. Their kindness made the whole recovery process so much easier. I’m truly glad I chose New Life Plastic Surgery. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend them.

I had Lipo 360 and a BBL with Dr. Dress on 11/26/2025. My consultant, Valentina, was amazing, very kind, helpful, and patient. She explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions during the scheduling process. My patient coordinator, Anniel, was also wonderful. He was thorough, professional, and very supportive. As for Dr. Dress, he is truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He listened carefully to what I wanted, gave me the time I needed, and made me feel safe. I trusted him completely, and he gave me an amazing result. The only part of my experience that I wish had been handled better was my time in the post-op care room. I felt rushed to wake up and leave even though my blood pressure was very low. I needed more fluids before being discharged, but I was only given about 40 minutes in recovery. I would have appreciated a little more time to stabilize before being asked to leave. My overall experience was great and I would definitely have another surgery with Dr.Dress, I’m extremely grateful to everyone, and I hope this feedback helps improve the post-op recovery process for future patients.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this plastic surgery clinic, and it comes down to one word: disorganization. From start to finish, the clinic felt chaotic and poorly managed. The coordinator team was especially problematic, unresponsive, unhelpful, rude, hostile and seemingly unaware of even the most basic post-procedure responsibilities. Communication was inconsistent, confusing, and nearly nonexistent. They were almost impossible to reach by phone or text, which only added unnecessary stress in what should be a carefully managed medical process. When administrative communication is this poor, it inevitably reflects on the surgeon and the overall standard of care. If a clinic cannot manage coordination, follow-up, or patient support, it raises serious concerns about safety and accountability. It left us genuinely uncomfortable and fearful about undergoing any procedure there. This level of dysfunction should be actively addressed by the surgeons, as it is a direct reflection of their practice. Another major issue was how my partner’s surgery time was repeatedly pushed back at the last minute, with notification only after we were already at the clinic. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering we are not local and flew in specifically for this procedure. There was zero regard for our time, travel expenses, or the planning required for out-of-town patients. What crossed the line entirely was that my partner was sent home without any pain medication after the procedure. When we tried to resolve this, the clinic refused to assist us in contacting the pharmacy, even though the pharmacy staff did not speak English and we clearly needed help. To make matters far worse, once we were finally able to obtain medication, it was the wrong prescription—one that my partner is fatally allergic to. This was a life-threatening mistake. She could have died as a result of their negligence. Despite the numerous errors, delays, and serious safety concerns, the clinic never attempted to compensate us, take accountability, or make any effort to correct their mistakes. There was no apology, no follow-up, and no concern for the distress they caused. It became very clear that once they had our money, patient care was no longer a priority. I will never return to this clinic. If you are considering treatment here, take this as a serious warning: avoid this place at all costs. No one should be treated this way, especially when it comes to something as serious as medical care, safety, and recovery. To sum it all up, there were many more negative scenarios throughout this experience, far too many to count. As a parting gift from this awful place, we were charged for before and after photos that were never provided, which amounts to outright theft. Thank you New Life for this absolutely awful experience!
